
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JULY 12, 2025: The Farmers Producer Companies (FPOs) of Ramaiahpetm, Sriramulapalli, Mamidipalli in Konaraopet mandal and Thimmapur of Rajannas-Sircilla district have celebrated the 44th foundation day of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on Saturday.
NABARD AGM Jayaprakash and DDM Dileep Chandra participated as the chief guests from the NABARD cluster office in Karimnagar. On this occasion, they planted the saplings and distributed them to the people, then cut the cake to mark the celebrations.
The objective was to encourage farmers to adopt methods of farming where the cost of growing and harvesting plants is zero by using natural fertilisers, such as cow dung.
AGM Jayaprakash said the National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development was empowering the lives of rural people, and its intervention was creating sustainable livelihoods. He further listed various rural development challenges and future planning, especially for the welfare of the farmers.
DDM Dileep Chandra said NABARD played a big role in the agriculture sector and allied sectors. It has developed many innovative programmes in agriculture, processing of foods etc. He also talked about the RBI guidelines for financial inclusion. FPO nodal officer Krishna, Project manager Salauddin, Ramaiahpet FPO chairman Deva Rao, Thimmapur FPO chairman Kushalu, board of directors, farmers, and womenfolk participated in large numbers.
