

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, FEBRUARY 21, 2025: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Shatrajpalli, Vemulawada, Rajanna-Sircilla district, celebrated International Mother Language Day on the college premises on Friday.
Under the aegis of the Telugu Department and NSS, several programmes were organised involving the students for the promotion and dissemination of the Telugu mother tongue. Throughout the event, students expressed the beauty and significance of the Telugu language through heartfelt songs, speeches, and dances, leaving the audience moved and inspired.
Principal K Lavanya, who spoke passionately about the need to protect all languages, big and small, emphasized that preserving linguistic and cultural diversity is essential to safeguarding the diversity of life itself. Vice Principal: B Sumalatha, Head of Telugu Department S. Sandhyarani, NSS Program Officer V. Swapna, Advisor Council Members R. Deepti and G. Swapna, Academic Coordinator Ch. Nirmala Hridaya, Staff Secretary G. Rajini, Faculty Members and Students were also present.
The event was a wonderful reminder of the importance of language, culture, and social welfare, bringing the entire community together in celebration.
