KARIMNAGAR, MAY 05, 2025: Mild tremors were felt in various parts of the integrated Karimnagar district on Monday evening.
Residents of Karimnagar town have informed this website that they felt the earth shaking for a few seconds with big sounds at around 6.45 pm. Even this reporter had also felt the tremors on two occasions.
Following the tremors, the residents came out of their houses and were seen discussing the earthquake in Karimnagar town. The locals said that they were scared for a few seconds when the earth shook with a loud sound. “We initially thought it was blasting at the local granite quarries, but it had a different sound and experience of building shaking”, they stated.
Reports reaching here said that the tremors were also felt in Sicilla, Jagtial and Peddapalli districts.
