NALGONDA, JANUARY 09, 2026: Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has formalised a partnership with the Department of Heritage, Telangana, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU was officially signed on Friday by MGU Registrar Prof. Aluvala Ravi and Director of the Department of Heritage of Telangana Prof. Arjun Rao Kutadi. During the signing ceremony, Prof. Ravi emphasized that the MoU is set to enhance research efforts and archaeological excavations at historical sites, along with promoting heritage research, educational programmes, seminars, tourist guide training, training camps, and academic collaboration. Speaking on the occasion, Director of the Department of Heritage Prof. K. Arjun Rao expressed that the MoU would greatly benefit the research scholars and students in the University’s Department of History and Tourism. Faculty members Panasa Ramakrishna, Mohammed Sharif, DD P Nagaraju, AD Mallu Naik and Superintendent Raju were present.
