
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, AUGUST 26, 2025: A medical camp and health awareness seminar were organised at the Telangana Social Welfare Women’s Degree College, Shathrajupalli, Vemulawada town. As part of the programme, the health issues of the students were identified, and appropriate medicines were provided.
The medical staff provided counselling on hygiene and sanitation, importance of safe drinking water, modern day health lifestyle related diseases, preventive measures to avoid contagious diseases. The students learnt about many health topics and had their health examined, which was quite engaging. The students were also empowered on the menstrual health issues.
Later, Medical Officers Dr. G. Lahari and Dr. Sai Vaishnavi explained to the students about the importance of personal hygiene and nutritious food. College Principal K. Lavanya, Vice Principal B. Sumalatha, College Health Supervisor P. Sumalatha, faculty members, and students participated in this program.
