KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 19, 2025: On the occasion of National Mathematics Day, which is scheduled to be conducted on December 22 to commemorate the birth anniversary of famous Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, the Department of Mathematics, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women (TGSWRDCW), Nagunur, Karimnagar town, is organising a five-day workshop titled “Mathematics for a Better Tomorrow” from December 18 to 22, 2025.
On the second day of the workshop, a guest lecture on “Awareness and Strategies for Competitive Examinations” was delivered by Vangala Srinivas, Lecturer in Mathematics, SRR Government Arts & Science College, Karimnagar. He highlighted effective preparation strategies, conceptual clarity, and time management for competitive exams.
The programme is being conducted under the guidance of T Malathi, Principal, and S. Padmaja, Vice-Principal, as Co-Convener. The workshop is convened by G. Vasumathi, Head, Department of Mathematics, along with K. Radhika and D. Mamatha, Lecturers in Mathematics. Students actively participated and found the session highly motivating.
