MANAGE Agri-Eureka 2025
HYDERABAD, JULY 25, 2025: The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad, is a leading institute in launching innovative agricultural extension and agri-business programs in India. MANAGE is hosting the Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship (CIA), a centre of excellence in Agri-Incubation and Knowledge partner to the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare to support the Agri-Startup ecosystem.
MANAGE Agri-Eurekais a national-level Agri Innovation and Business Plan competition that offers a unique platform for aspiring agripreneurs to present innovative ideas and solutions in the agriculture and allied sectors. The competition invitedparticipants to propose novel or improved products, services, or technologies that can be developed into viable Agri-startups. It encourages emerging innovators to address localised or region-specific challenges in agriculture using modern farming practices and emerging technologies.
Objectives
To promote innovative and practical solutions in agriculture and allied sectors.
To encourage early-stage start-ups to develop viable Agri-startup business plans.
To address local and regional Agri-challenges through technology and creativity.
MANAGE Agri-Eureka 2025 was launched on March 21, 2025, with nationwide outreach via MANAGE-CIA’s social media platforms, major newspapers (Times of India, Hindustan Hindi), and collaboration with seven universities. Over 13 online outreach sessions engaged 500+ students ,encouraging innovation in agriculture.

Applications Closed: June 15, 2025
Shortlisted for Preliminary Evaluation: 86 ideas
Preliminary Round: Held online on June 26–27, 2025
After the first round of Screening, 86 Top Innovative ideas were selected for the Preliminary Round of Evaluation. And each team were given 10 minutes to present their idea online on 26 -27, June 2025.
Selected for Mentoring at MANAGE: 37 teams
The mentoring session and evaluation rounds were held at MANAGE, Hyderabad, from July 21–25, 2025. Out of 37, 22 teams participated in the mentoring session and presented their idea in the semi-final round, and 9 teams were shortlisted for the Grand final round, marking a milestone in their journey toward building impactful Agri-startups. After the Grand finale round held on 25th July 2025, three teams were selected as winners, out of which 1st Awardee is Mr. Sai Vishnu K. (Team –Sea Eden), the 2nd Awardee -Ms. Theviksha A. (Mavericks), 3rd Awardee -Ms. Yukthika S.S. (Agrisys).
Valedictory Address by Director General, MANAGE
In the valedictory address, Dr. Sagar Hanuman Singh, IPoS, Director General, MANAGE, said that, Innovative ideas are the seeds of transformation. Take this experience not just as an event, but as the beginning of a journey. Work hard on your ideas, refine them, find practical solutions, and let such platforms inspire you to create impact-driven ventures.
Remarks by Director(Agricultural Extension)
Dr. Saravanan Raj, Director (Agricultural Extension) and CEO, MANAGE-CIA, highlighted that the objective of the program was to identify promising agri-innovation ideas and help elevate them to the next level. Selected ideas from this challenge will be further nurtured and guided towards the RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme, enabling participants to access grant and incubation support
Details of Awardees:
1stWinner: Sea Edenled by Mr. Sai Vishnu K., is developing a salt-tolerant bio-fertiliser using native halophilic bacteria. It helps plants grow in high-salinity polluted soils by improving soil health and supporting root development. This eco-friendly solution boosts crop yield by the induction of plant growth-promoting bacteria without using any chemicals.
2ndWinner: Maverick’s led by Ms. Theviksha A. offers sugarcane bagasse-derived bio herbicide inhibits weeds without harming ecosystems, offering a biodegradable, non-toxic, cost-effective solution for farmers to reduce chemical use.
3rdWinner:Ms. Yukthika S.S., along with the team of Agrisysis developinga solar-powered wearable headband for animals that monitors jaw movement and temperature to detect health issues. It sends alerts if no chewing is detected during active hours, uses glow-in-the-dark coating for night visibility, and features auto night mode for power efficiency.
