RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 29, 2025: M. Haritha, the 2013 batch IAS officer, assumed charge as the new Collector of Rajanna-Sircilla district, succeeding Sandeep Kumar Jha, who has been transferred to the Transport Department. She was welcomed by officials and met district-level staff to review administrative matters.
Additional Collector Gaddam Nagesh and Sircilla RDO Venkateshwarlu greeted her with bouquets. Later, she met district-level officials of various departments, Tahsildars and collectorate staff. Haritha, who earlier served as Special Secretary in the Education Department, was appointed Collector in place of Sandeep Kumar Jha.
Mr Jha, who was embroiled in controversy in recent months, has been transferred to the Transport Department.
