KARIMNAGAR, MAY 20, 2024: Captain K Kiran Jyothi, NCC officer and Commerce faculty member at Vivekananda Degree and PG college in Karimnagar town, has successfully completed her training and promoted to the rank of Major in the NCC wing.
Kiran Jyothi has undergone training at Gwalior from April 15 to May 5 and completed the course and promoted to the rank of Major. Incidentally, she is the first women NCC officer to be promoted to the rank of Major from 9 Telangana NCC battalion in Karimnagar district.
On this occasion, college principal Ch Srinivas congratulated the NCC officer for her elevation and true grit and determination for her success in the tough training of Army officials. Kiran Jyothi said that she had learned the march-past, map reading, firing, yoga and trainings. She thanked the college management for helping her undergo training at Gwalior.
College correspondent V Agam Rao, AO B Sravan Kumar, ACO B Sampath Kumar and Rameshwar Rao, NCC programme officer D Sagar, all the faculty members and NCC cadets had congratulated Kiran Jyothi.
