SIDDIPET, MARCH 30, 2026: Kaveri University in Gauraram of Siddipet district successfully hosted a “Traffic Awareness Programme” aimed at educating students, faculty, and the local community on road safety, traffic rules, and responsible driving practices on Monday.
The event was graced by distinguished chief guests: M. Murali, Traffic CI, and B. Karunakar Reddy, SI, who shared valuable insights from their expertise in traffic management. The programme was headed by Director Harsha Polsani, who emphasised the university’s commitment to fostering civic responsibility and sustainable urban mobility.

Key highlights included interactive sessions on helmet usage, speed limits, pedestrian safety, and avoiding drunk driving. Over 300 participants engaged in this demonstration, and a pledge-taking ceremony to uphold traffic discipline. Director Harsha Polsani stated, “Initiatives like this empower our youth to become safer road users, contributing to an accident-free society.”
University Registrar B.Srinivasulu, Deans Konda Srinivas and Pratap Kumar Reddy, heads of departments, faculty and students participated in this programme.
