
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 15, 2025: In a noble gesture, the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Karimnagar chapter, has provided financial assistance for the education of a medico and an engineering student in Karimnagar district on Tuesday.
Following the news reports about MBBS final year student, Neerati Rahul, at Osmania Medical college, Hyderabad, who was unable to pay the hostel mess and college fees, then IMA Karimnagar chapter was informed about a medico from Huzurabad of Karimnagar district, who was excelling in academics, but was unable to pay the hostel mess and college fees..
Following the assurance given by medico, the college principal had also agreed because of his meritorious performance in academics. It may be recalled that he used to collect books from his books from his seniors to study and was dedicated in his education and fulfilled his to become a doctor to serve the society.
When the news reached the IMA Karimnagar chapter, its president Dr Anamalla Naresh, Secretary Dr Siripuram Naveen Kumar and Treasurer Ch Vijay Kumar sponsored the education of the medico. The IMA state president, Dr Dwarakanath, has donated Rs 90,000 for the payment of hostel and college fees to support the education of a bright medical student.
Similarly, the IMA Karimnagar chapter had donated Rs 2 lakh including Rs 1.5 lakh for college fees and mess charges and Rs 40,000 worth laptop and Rs 10,000 for pocket money for the education of Neerati Rahul’s brother Neerati Rishi, who secured admission in NIT Warangal in ECE course. IMA state president Dr D Dwarakanath had come forward to sponsor his complete education and even donated a laptop computer and pocket money.
