PEDDAPALLI, AUGUST 12, 2025: The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank has emerged as a role in the country with the diversification of the PACS into Multi-Service Centres. Incidentally, the KDCCB is the first in the country to take solar power generation through PACS in the integrated Karimnagar district.
Accordingly, Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu, along with KDCCB and NAFSCOB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao, laid the foundation stone for the installation of a 1MW Solar plant at Gunjapadugu village, Manthani PACS, with an estimated cost of Rs 3.50 crore society will earn at about Rs 50.00 lakh per year, 25-year service period.
The KDCCB sanctioned Rs 3.00 crore each to 5 PACS i.e Manthani, Choppadandi, Appannapet, Nandi Medaram and Kalva Srirampur with the support of NABARD under PACS as MSC. At Choppadandi also laid along alongwith Medipalli Satyam,MLA Choppadandi.
Similarly, the KDCCB chairman, along with the Minister Sri Sridher Babu, Minister for IT and Industries, inaugurated the newly constructed Branch Building with a cost of Rs 90.00lakhs, Society Building with a cost of Rs 60.00 lakh at Kamanpur mandal headquarters.
On Tuesday, the foundation stone was laid at Kalva Srirampur along with Chinthakunta Vijayaramana Rao, MLA Peddapalli.
Dist Collector, Peddapalli has allotted the Govt Land 4.00 acre each to Manthani, Appannapet, Kalva Srirampur and Mandi Medaram Societies. Peddapalali MLA Vijayaramana Rao, addressing the meeting, said that he will support whatever is required in the implementation of the schemes by the Cooperatives for the welfare of farmers. He also assured that he will help in the allotment of Govt Land for the construction of Godowns.
Mr Konduru Ravinder Rao, Chairman of KDCCB and NAFSCOB, said that on a pilot basis, Solar plants are being established first in Karimnagar DCCB in India, and PACS will expand their business into non-credit activities, paddy. Procurement, fertiliser, seed, pesticides, establishing water plants, supermarkets, petrol pumps etc. DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao, S Jaya Prakash DDM NABARD, Srimala DCO, Ramchendra Reddy, President Srirampur etc.
