

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 17, 2025: Employees of Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) have intensified their Deposit mobilisation campaign in the integrated Karimnagar district after launching the Sowbhagya Fixed Deposit Scheme offering 8 per cent interest to the general public and 8.5 per cent interest for womenfolk and citizens.
Accordingly, the DCBB staff, led by its Bank CEO N Satyanarayana Rao, visited the prestigious SRR Government Arts and Science College in Karimnagar town on Friday, early hours and strolled with the walkers, interacting with them and distributing pamphlets and explaining about the importance of investing in the Karimnagar DCCB branches to reap riches with the highest interest rates. The women employees were seen interacting with women walkers and explaining the 8.5 per cent interest rate on their investments in the bank.
The Sowbhagya fixed deposit scheme was launched on October 13, 2025 and would continue till March 31, 2025. During this period, the bank employees have decided to educate its customers and the general public about the need to invest in the KDCCB for securing the highest interest rates when compared to other commercial banks.
Speaking on the premises of SRR college, DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao enlightened the walkers about the history, which was the first bank established in the year 1921 in the integrated Karimnagar town. He said that the Karimnagar DCCB had emerged as a role model cooperative bank in the country by winning national awards consecutive for the last nine years.
Explaining that the Karimnagar DCCB was providing all the services on par with any commercial bank in the district, he appealed to the deposit their amount for safe custody and benefit the farming community and the money would be circulated within the old Karimnagar district by providing loans to various sections of society. He also informed the NPA of the below 0.54 per cent and earning huge profits of more than Rs 119.31 crore, and the business crossing over Rs 7,000 crore during the last financial year.
The staff members supported the drive wholeheartedly and are in “sync” with the management. DCCB Director Anugu Tirupati Reddy, DCCB general manager B Sridhar, TCCBEA district president G Hanumantha Rao, secretary Raju, Managers K Sunil, Sharada and others also participated in the campaign.
