

KDCCB is providing the highest interest rate of 8 per cent for the general public and 8.5 per cent for women and senior citizens for fixed deposits
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 16, 2025: Employees of Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) have launched a Deposit Mobilisation campaign in the integrated Karimnagar district by conducting door-to-door campaigns and meetings in walkers and other sections of society in the integrated Karimnagar district on Thursday.
The KDCCB had announced the highest interest rate of 8 per cent for the general public and 8.5 per cent for women and senior citizens under the Sowbhagya fixed deposit scheme for 333 days. Incidentally, the KDCCB is the only bank to provide the highest rate of interest (ROI) for fixed deposits in the Telangana state.
The Sowbhagya fixed deposit scheme was launched on October 13, 2025 and would continue till March 31, 2025. During this period, the bank employees have decided to educate its customers and the general public about the need to invest in the KDCCB for securing the highest interest rates when compared to other commercial banks.
Accordingly, the bank employees in all the 71 branches were conducting door-to-door contact and meeting the morning walkers before the bank hours and distributing the pamphlets and educating the services being provided by the bank on par with any commercial banks and providing friendly service to the customers. In Karimnagar town, DCCB main branch employees led by its manager Prasoona, assistant manager Madhuri, staff assistant Srujan and Sujith visited the various localities in Sapthagiri and campaign for the mobilization of deposits by distributing the pamphlets.
Faced with challenges on deposit growth, the KDCCB had instructed all its more than 500 strong force to go out and garner funds by educating the people to invest in the KDCCB to reap riches with highest interest rates. The bank staff had been canvassing through social media and putting the pamphlets on their cellular phone status and they are also contacting their relations and whatever there is in their circle for the mobilization of deposits.
