KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 26, 2025: In the wake of controversy over Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy expressing his ire against the district administration for poor coordination among the departments during his visit to Karimnagar town to participate in various development works along with Union Ministers Manohar Lal Khathar and Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar on January 24, 2025, Collector Pamela Satpathy issued memos to six district officials seeking their explanation.
The Collector sought an explanation from Karimnagar town ACP, ED SC Corporation, district Youth and Sports officer, District welfare officer, District educational officer and Karimnagar RDO, according to official sources.
The Ministers faced inconvenience due to a lack of coordination among officers. Enraged over poor arrangements, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy expressed anger at the Collector. The words of the Minister went viral on social media and were also widely covered in print and electronic media.
