HYDERABAD, APRIL 30, 2025: The Telangana government has reappointed senior IPS officer VB Kamalasan Reddy as Officer on Special Duty, Intelligence Security Wing and Full additional charge of the post of the Director, Telangana Integrated Command Control Centre, Hyderabad, on Wednesday.
Mr Kamalasan Reddy has superannuated of his services as Director-General of the Drugs Control Administration (DCA) on Wednesday. He had won accolades for reviving the DCA and checking several illegal activities of the pharmaceutical companies, fake doctors. He had won appreciation in the Telangana state for using the Drone camera for policing in Karimnagar district when he was the Commissioner of Police.
