WARANGAL, JANUARY 28, 2026: The Faculty Forum of Kakatiya Government College, Hanamkonda, will organise a two-day National Seminar on March 6 and 7 on the college premises. The seminar is on the theme “Academic Freedom, Institutional Autonomy, and Democratic Resilience.” Permission to organise this national seminar has been granted by the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education, Telangana.

For this national-level seminar, the Faculty Forum Convener Adama Srinivasa Reddy will serve as the Seminar Convener, Musham Ravinder as the Co-Convener, and Swamy Uppula as the Organising Secretary. The seminar brochure related to this event was released by the College Principal, Professor G. Srinivas.
The seminar will be addressed by eminent scholars, including Professor Haragopal, Professor Arun Kumar, General Secretary of the All India Federation of University and College Teachers’ Organisations (AIFUCTO) and former Dean, Social Sciences, Osmania University; Professor Karri Srinivasulu, Emeritus Professor, IIIT-Hyderabad; Professor Laltu Singh; and Professor Burra Ramesh from the Regional Institute of Education. This was informed by the Seminar Convener, Mr Adama Srinivasa Reddy.
Guidelines for faculty members submitting papers to the seminar were explained by the Seminar Co-Convener, Musham Ravinder. On this occasion, the Organising Secretary, Swamy Uppula, conducted an orientation programme for faculty members on the topic “Techniques in Research Paper Writing.” P. Dinakar and E. Ram Bhaskar Raju served as the resource persons for the programme.
Speaking at the event, the College Principal congratulated the Faculty Forum for taking up such a meaningful initiative and expressed the hope that Kakatiya Government College faculty would be at the forefront in research publications. He also called upon everyone to make the national seminar a grand success.
