KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 05, 2025: Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao unveiled the posters pertaining to Sports Fiesta (intercollegiate sports meet), Innofest (intercollegiate technical events) and Radiance-2025 (intercollegiate cultural events) on the college campus on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
The series of events will be conducted from February 20 to 28 and followed by the Utsav-2025 annual day on March 1, 2025. As part of the Sports Fiesta from February 20 to 28, the competitions will be conducted in cricket, volleyball, throwball, table tennis doubles, caroms doubles, chess and kho-kho for girls. The cash prizes will be given along with trophies and certificates in all the events.
The Innofest-2025 will be conducted on February 24 and 25 wherein competitions will be conducted in project competition, paper presentation, crossword, circuit design, general quiz, technical quiz, code-o-quick (coding), poster presentation and treasure hunt. The cash prizes and certificates will be given to all the first three winners of various competitions. The student stalls exhibition and sales will be conducted on February 24 and 25. The annual day and cultural events on March 1, 2025.
Students secure placement in Infosys
Seven students from JITS (autonomous) college secured placement as System Engineer with Infosys with an annual package of Rs 3.6 lakhs. The students who secured placements include; Shriya Mada, Manaswini Peddi, Sreeja Sani, Preethi Yadla, Zufishan Kursheed, Visakha Soni and Shivani Baireddy. JITS chairman J Sagar Rao and principal Anil Kumar and other faculty members congratulated the students for securing placements.
