

KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 22, 2025: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) was held peacefully without any untoward incident in five examinations in and around Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
In the first shift, the attendance was 1048 students against a total of 1075 and the absenteeism was only 27 students. In the second session, the attendance was 1019 students against the total of 1050 candidates and the absenteeism was only 31 students, according to NTA Karimnagar City Coordinator and Vivekananda Residential School Director (Academics) Dr T Lalitha Kumari.
The examination was conducted at Vaniniketan Degree and PG College, Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering, Ion Digital zone, Thimmapur, Alphores Women’s Degree College and Jyothismathi Institute of Technology and Sciences in Karimnagar town.
The exam is scheduled for January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 (paper 1 for BE and B Tech) and January 30 (paper 2, BArch/BPlanning). Admit cards for the first three days have been released at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Candidates need to reach the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit cards. They must follow the dress code and exam day instructions.
Candidates must ensure that they carry only those items allowed inside the exam hall. They should make their arrangements for the safekeeping of personal belongings, as not all exam centres may have this facility.
A printed copy of the admit card (all pages, on A4-size paper and preferably on colour), photograph (same as the one used in the application form), a valid, original photo ID and other prescribed documents will be required in the exam hall.
