
WARANGAL, JANUARY 19, 2025: The Jana Vikasa State Level Youth Convention 2025, centred on the theme “Personality Development and Career Guidance,” was held on Sunday (January 19) at the Bala Vikasa People Development Training Center (PDTC). The event brought together 600 college students, including orphans, semi-orphans, and underprivileged youth, offering a transformative platform for learning and growth.
The day-long convention featured inspiring sessions, cultural performances, and interactive discussions tailored to address contemporary challenges faced by young people. In a significant gesture, scholarships worth ₹5,000 each were awarded to 90 meritorious students pursuing higher education. Participants also received stationery and educational kits, underscoring Jana Vikasa’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and holistic development in underserved communities.
Edukondalu, Excise Circle Inspector, led an impactful session on preparing for competitive exams and developing essential life skills. Highlighting the growing importance of emotional resilience, he said, “Despite education and resources, many individuals face despair. Emotional balance and crisis management are crucial life skills that we must nurture to build a healthier, more balanced society.”
Inna Reddy engaged students in a vital discussion on online safety, offering guidance on combating cyber threats. He urged participants to seek support from his NGO, Cyber Hope Helps Foundation when dealing with unsafe situations online.
Shoury Reddy Singareddy, Executive Director of Bala Vikasa, emphasized the importance of cyber safety, stating, “In today’s ‘www’ world, much of the crime occurs online, creating distress and chaos. Awareness of cybercrime is key to protecting ourselves from online scams and risks.”
