KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 02, 2024: IVY International CBSE High School, Seetharampur, Karimnagar town, organised an investiture ceremony marking the formation of a new student council with a motto to invest the students with a sense of responsibility and transform them into future leaders with their heads held high on its school premises on Friday.
The event marked the formal installation of the new student council for the 2024-25 session. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of lamp and prayers to Goddess Saraswathi by school Chairman Pasula Mahesh, Co-Chairman and Siddhartha Schools Chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy, School Director Pasula Jayashree and School Principal Dali Ratnani and others.
The students delivered a warm welcome speech emphasizing the importance of leadership and responsibility. The highlight of the event was the induction of the newly elected student council members headed by school president Adya Varanya and school vice president T Tanvita and others. The school chairman presented ceremonial sash and badges to the newly inducted student leaders. This was followed by the ceremonial oath ceremony. The management also pinned badges to the students who excelled in academics.
On this occasion, the school chairman and the co-chairman congratulated the school council members and encouraged them to remain perseverant and dedicated to their commitment as council members, provide positive reinforcement to the school community, and emerge as good leaders for building a better nation.
