
HYDERABAD, JULY 19, 2025: The Department of BSC Food Science, Nutrition, and Dietetics at Loyola Academy Degree and PG College organised an insightful and interactive programme titled “Dietopia”.
The event, held on 19th July 2025, aimed to educate and create awareness about the importance of standardised diets among school children. The programme focused on promoting healthy eating habits, understanding nutritional labels, and making informed food choices—key skills essential for growing children.
Students from the B.Sc. the Food Science, Nutrition, and Dietetics course curated various activities, including demonstrations, exhibitions, interactive sessions, and fun nutrition-based games to engage young minds in understanding the role of a balanced diet in day-to-day life.
Faculty members and dignitaries from the college, including representatives from IQAC, graced the occasion and appreciated the students’ initiative in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and community outreach.
