

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2025: Vivekananda Residential School, Karimnagar, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour in the school premises on Friday. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
The programme included inspiring speeches by student leaders — Laiba (Deputy Head Girl) and Archit (Head Boy) — as well as cultural performances such as dances, patriotic songs.
Vice Principal M. Prashanth addressed the students, urging them to work hard, be sincere, and uphold patriotic values, reminding them that they are the future citizens who will shape the destiny of the nation.
Member of Advisory Committee Mr. Gandra Laxman Rao graced the occasion with his inspiring presence, encouraging students to dream big and work with dedication. In his speech, he emphasised the importance of discipline, perseverance, and moral values in achieving success. He applauded the school’s efforts in nurturing future leaders and wished the students a bright and purposeful future.
Chairman Dr. Polsani Sudhakar Rao , Director of Academics, Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari and Principal Mrs. Renuka Balivada jointly conveyed that as we celebrate our nation’s freedom, we must remember the sacrifices of our heroes and commit ourselves to building a strong, united, and progressive India. They emphasised that education is not only about academics but also about shaping character, instilling values, and nurturing love for our country, and encouraged students to uphold discipline, dedication, and responsibility as the pillars of the nation’s future.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. V. Anitha, followed by the distribution of sweets to all students and staff. The day was a reminder of the importance of unity, responsibility, and commitment toward the nation.
