

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2025: The 79th Independence Day celebrations were held with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at Paradise and St George International (CBSE) schools in Rekurti and Kothapalli, respectively, in Karimnagar town.
Schools chairman P Fatima Reddy was the chief guest and hoisted the national flag after paying floral tributes to the portraits of freedom fighters. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Independence Day is a symbol of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the victory over British rule. He emphasised the importance of remembering the struggles of our ancestors.
The programme featured patriotic songs, dances, and plays performed by the students, which showcased their love for the country. The students also dressed up as freedom fighters and national leaders, adding to the festive atmosphere. The event was attended by Principals T Vasantha, A.Bhargav, N.H.Priyadarshini, teachers, and students.
