KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2025: The 79th Independence Day celebrations were held with great patriotic fervour at Blue Bells High School, Hanuman Nagar, Karimnagar, on Friday. The day began with the students enthusiastically participating in the Prabhat Bheri, raising slogans like “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
School Principal Janga Sunitha Manohar Reddy hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering. In her speech, she said, “Freedom was not gifted to us; it was earned through countless sacrifices and supreme courage. The best way to honour our nation is by performing our duties with sincerity and discipline. Students should focus not only on academics but also on becoming responsible citizens. Teachers, as nation builders, must nurture discipline, patriotism, and creativity in every child.”
Students performed patriotic songs and dances, while tiny tots dressed as Mahatma Gandhi, Bharat Mata, and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru charmed the audience. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets to all present.
