KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 23, 2026: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Karimnagar chapter, in association with the Bar Association of Karimnagar, has conducted a free mega medical camp for the benefit of advocates, staff, litigants and the general public on the premises of the District Court Complex in Karimnagar town on Friday.
Principal District & Sessions judge S Shiva Kumar, First Additional District and Sessions Judge Venkatesh, Karimnagar Bar Association president I Nagaraju and secretary K Arun Kumar participated in the inauguration of the camp. The medical camp was conducted under the supervision of IMA district president Dr Akula Shailaja, secretary Dr Mahesh and treasurer Dr Neelima Kasam and others.

It was a full-fledged camp involving all major specialities, including Cardiology, Neurosurgery, General Medicine, Gynaecology, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics etc. Also, free BP, diabetes, ECG and ENT check-ups were conducted at the camp by the specialist doctors.

Gyanaecologists enlightened the women advocates about cervical and breast cancer and the need for annual Pap Smear tests for early detection and cure of cancer. More than 300 people availed the benefits of the camp on the court premises.
