KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 23, 2025: Senior Gyneacologist Dr Akula Shailaja has assumed charge as the new president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Karimnagar chapter for the year 2025-26, at IMA hall in Karimnagar town on Wednesday night.
Dr Nagasamudram Mahesh has been elected as the general secretary and Dr Kasam Neelima as the treasurer, Dr Pradeep Kumar, Dr Venkateshwarlu and Dr Vidyadhara Rani have been elected as vice presidents. Dr Akula Shailaja had earlier worked as the general secretary of the IMA Karimnagar district chapter for more than a decade ago.
