NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 18, 2025: In a defining moment for India’s cooperative education sector, Tribhuvan Sahkari University unveiled its official logo, a symbol that captures the institution’s vision and values. The event, graced by distinguished academic leaders, faculty, and students, marked a milestone in strengthening the University’s identity as a hub of cooperative knowledge and empowerment.
The newly unveiled logo is rich in symbolism, reflecting the University’s guiding pillars of Knowledge, Cooperation, Equity, and Sustainable Community Empowerment. An open book at its base signifies learning as the foundation of progress, while a flourishing tree—formed by human figures—represents growth, cooperation, and people-centric development. Elements such as the rising sun, water streams, and deep roots signify hope, continuity, and sustainability. The evenly spread leaves highlight equity, while the dynamic flow of pages reflects innovation and forward-thinking.
With the motto “Sahakāra Jñānam Janakalyāṇāya” (Cooperative knowledge for the welfare of the people), the logo pays tribute to the visionary legacy of Shri Tribhuvandas Patel. It underlines the University’s mission to build empowered communities through cooperative learning and sustainable development, placing people—especially women—at the heart of progress.
