
JAGTIAL, SEPTEMBER 15, 2025: Government Women’s Degree College (A), Jagtial, celebrated Hindi Day on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief guest, A Rajeshwar, Leading Hindi promoter and Member of Hindi Board of Studies, delivered a talk on “Employment Opportunities in Hindi”. He said, “In a multilingual country like India, learning Hindi can open many career opportunities in education, translation, media, journalism, and government sectors. He advised students to improve their proficiency in Hindi to pursue roles such as teachers, translators, Hindi officers, and media professionals”.
The college in charge Principal T. Pramod Kumar, who presided over the program and said, “Respecting Hindi, our national language, is the responsibility of every citizen. Promoting its use in education, trade, and government work will strengthen national unity.” He congratulated Hindi Department Head Vasala Varaprasad and the students for successfully organising the event.
Students Poonam, Rushda Nazreen, Meghna Sen, Mahek Bhanu, Saima, and Saba expressed the importance of Hindi through speeches, songs, and poems. Later, A. Rajeshwar was honoured with a shawl and a plant. The college also felicitated Syed Falak, who recently secured the state 4th rank in CPGET 2025.
Vice Principal G. Chandraya, Staff Secretary Mrs. N. Sangeetha Rani, faculty members G. Srilatha Ramachandram, Raheem, S. Mallikarjun Vasavi, Sujatha, Neeraja, Kashim, and many students participated in the programme.
