HYDERABAD, AUGUST 14, 2025: The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) organised a Har Ghar Tiranga rally in Manikeshwari Nagar basti, led by the Vice Chancellor. The initiative was to distribute national flags to the residents and encourage them to display the tricolour on their homes in the run-up to Independence Day.
Prof. Nagaraju joined students, faculty, and non-teaching staff in walking through nearby streets, engaging with community members, and explaining the purpose of the campaign. The event sought to strengthen civic participation and public awareness of the symbolic value of the flag.
As part of the Independence Day celebrations, EFLU has lined up a series of programmes, including a photo exhibition commemorating the Partition Horrors, quiz competitions, and Rangoli contests. These activities aim to foster a deeper understanding of the nation’s history and strengthen the spirit of solidarity and sense of patriotism among the university community.
