RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JULY 18, 2025: As part of the Ashadam month celebrations, the girl students of Government Degree College, Sircilla Textile town, celebrated the mehendi festival with much pomp and gaiety on their college campus on Friday.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit and the Women Empowerment Cell had jointly conducted the mehendi competitions. The students apart from studies, showcased their talent in such activities.
The students made beautiful designs of Arabian colourful mehndi, sparkle mehndi designs and drew floral designs of leaves, including birds on the hands of their female teachers and their colleagues.
College principal T Shankar, Vice principal T Lavanya, WEC coordinator M Shobhara, NSS programme officer M Shakuntala and other faculty members were also present.
