RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JANUARY 23, 2026: At the KG to PG campus in Gambheeraopet Mandal headquarters, primary school teachers, the principal and teachers of ZPHS, principals of government junior and degree colleges, the Mandal Tahsildar, and students on Friday, observed the 16th National Voters’ Day programmein advance, following Telangana government orders.
Govt Degree college Principal Prof V Vijayalakshmi addressed the event, describing the vote—created by the Indian Constitution—as a powerful weapon like the ‘Vajrayudha’. She explained its value in electing competent leaders for good governance and advised every Indian aged 18 and above to exercise their voting right to contribute to national development.

Mandal Tahsildar Maruthi Reddy added that Form 6 can be filled to obtain voter status and urged all to use their vote wisely. Students then recited the Voters’ Day pledge under his guidance.
NSS volunteers at the degree college held essay and speech competitions for students to mark the occasion. The Principal and Tahsildar awarded certificates to outstanding participants.
The programme honoured Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary as the Principal, teachers, and students garlanded his portrait and paid tribute.
College Vice Principal M. Prabhakar, IQAC Coordinator Y. Anjaneyulu, Task Coordinator Shrawan Kumar, Scholarship Coordinator Adivishnu, WEC Coordinator V. Vani, K.V. Bikshamayya, Manohar, Srinivas, Sucharan, Jaganatham, Mahesh, Krishna Prasad, Deepika, Bhargavi, Ravinder, Shankar, Senior Assistant Srinivas, and the teaching and non-teaching staff attended and made the event a success.
