

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2025: The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotic fervour at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar. The celebrations began with the hoisting of the National Flag by Juvvadi Sagar Rao, Chairman, Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairman highlighted the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and urged everyone to contribute towards building a progressive and self-reliant India. He emphasised the importance of discipline, innovation, and social responsibility in shaping the nation’s future.
Dr. T. Anil Kumar, Principal, Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science in his message, reminded students of their role as responsible citizens and motivated them to maintain discipline, uphold values, and strive for academic excellence. He encouraged them to adapt to the ever-evolving educational and technological landscape for a better tomorrow.
Dr. V. Rajkumar, Principal, Jyothishmathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, in his address, spoke about the importance of health, ethics, and research in nation-building. He encouraged students to pursue their education with dedication, uphold professional integrity, and contribute meaningfully to the healthcare sector, thereby serving society and the country.
Dr. K. Vaishali, Dean (Academics & Audit), in her address, stressed the need for continuous learning, unity, and teamwork. She urged the students to not only excel in academics but also to develop qualities of leadership, empathy, and integrity to serve society effectively.
Heads of various departments, faculty members, and students actively participated in the celebrations, making the occasion memorable. This Independence Day, let us all pledge to uphold the unity, harmony, and progress of our great nation. The NCC cadets provided a guard honour and parade on the occasion.
