
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 23, 2025: A Financial Literacy Session was successfully conducted at Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE), Karimnagar, for the students of Classes 8 and 9, to create awareness about financial management and digital safety.
The session was conducted by esteemed delegates from Telangana Grameena Bank—R. Vijay Singh, Chief Manager (Business), V. Shekar, Branch Manager, Dev Raj, FI Manager. The programme was highly informative and educative, focusing on awareness about cyber crimes, online frauds, and ATM frauds, and the necessary precautionary measures.
A special attraction of the programme was the entertaining presentation by the Vibhudi Brothers, who explained financial concepts through a dance drama using folk songs, humour, and jokes, making the session lively, engaging, and easily understandable for students. Information about various bank schemes, loans, and insurance benefits was also shared.

At the end of the session, the guests were felicitated by Principal Renuka Balivada, Senior Advisor Gandra LaxmanRao and Vice Principal M Prasanth, in appreciation of their valuable contribution. The school expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Chairman Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani and Director (Academics) Dr T. Lalitha Kumari, for their constant guidance and support in organising the programme.
Overall, the programme was highly successful and enriched students with essential financial knowledge and cyber safety awareness.
