
Father – The superhero for their children
HYDERABAD, JUNE 14, 2025: Father’s Day was celebrated at Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, with great enthusiasm and warmth by the students of classes 1 and 2, to honour the invaluable role fathers play in the lives of their children, on Friday. They prepared beautiful greeting cards and collages for their fathers. They also reflected their feelings and emotions about their father by dedicating meaningful quotes to them. The school campus was filled with joy and happiness.
Fathers play a vital role in shaping their children’s lives, providing love, support and guidance. Father’s Day acknowledges the importance of fatherhood and the impact fathers have on their families. It’s an opportunity for children to express gratitude and appreciation for their father’s hard work and dedication. The Niveditans of Classes 1 and 2 celebrated Father’s Day, a special occasion dedicated in honour of fathers and father figures for their contribution, love and sacrifices.
The programme began with a lovely song about a father. The teachers and children performed a skit, showcasing the hard work and sacrifices of fathers, which brought smiles to the children’s faces. The children energetically performed a lively dance, radiating joy and enthusiasm. A “Dad & Me” craft-making session added a creative touch to the celebration, where students did handmade cards as tokens of love to their fathers.
The highlight of the event was the “Super Dad”, where the children joyfully presented handmade cards to the male teachers and male office staff, acknowledging them not only as educators but also as father figures who guide, support, and inspire with care and dedication.”
The celebration left everyone with smiles and happy memories, reinforcing the message that fathers are indeed the pillars of strength, guidance, and love in every child’s life.
The principal of the school, Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari, graced the occasion and emphasised the importance of a father’s presence in shaping a child’s life. The chairman of the school, Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani and the correspondent of the school, Rtn. M. Hari Hara Prasad extended heartfelt Father’s Day wishes to all the fathers, appreciating their unwavering support, love and the vital role they play in shaping their children’s future.”
