
Opportunity to Apply Extended Till July 12, says Singareni management
HYDERABAD, JULY 09, 2025: As per the directions of the State Government, the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, has extended the last date for submission of applications under the Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Abhaya Hastham scheme till July 12, said SCCL chairman and managing director N Balram on Wednesday.
He stated that under this scheme, candidates from Telangana who have cleared the Civils Prelims and are appearing for the Mains examination will be provided financial assistance of ₹1 lakh each.
Previously, the last date for submission of applications was July 7. However, in view of requests received from candidates, the deadline has now been extended to July 12. He urged candidates from Telangana who have cleared the Civil Prelims to make use of this opportunity and submit their applications online before the 12th. He further informed that children of Singareni employees who have cleared the Civils Prelims will also be provided financial assistance of ₹1 lakh each under this scheme.
Background:
Last year, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu launched the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastham scheme. In the previous year, 140 candidates had applied under this scheme, and SCCL provided financial assistance of ₹1 lakh each to them. Among these, 20 candidates also cleared the Mains and were selected for the interview stage, and they too received an additional ₹1 lakh each as encouragement. In the same manner, SCCL has decided to provide financial assistance to candidates from Telangana under this scheme this year as well.
