Students encouraged to become entrepreneurs
KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 23, 2026: An Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme on the theme “Crafting the Entrepreneurial Mindset” was organised at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, in collaboration with Central Institute of Tool Design, MSME, on Monday.

The event aimed to create awareness among students about entrepreneurship opportunities, start-up culture, innovation, and industry-oriented skill development. The speakers emphasised the importance of developing an entrepreneurial mindset, leadership qualities, financial literacy, and exploring self-employment opportunities in today’s competitive environment.
Resource Person Devaraju Venkata Rao, Professor of Business Management, Accounting & Finance and Director of Vani Niketan Institute of Management Studies, delivered an insightful session on entrepreneurial competencies, financial planning for start-ups, risk management, and sustainable business strategies. He motivated students to transform innovative ideas into successful business ventures through strategic planning and continuous learning.

Chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to think innovatively and become job creators rather than job seekers. Secretary & Correspondent J. Sumith Sai highlighted the importance of industry collaboration in nurturing entrepreneurial skills and bridging the gap between academia and industry.
Principal T. Anil Kumar stated that such programmes strengthen practical knowledge and inspire students towards start-up ventures. Dean Academics & Audit P. K. Vaishali, Heads of the Departments, faculty members, and students actively participated and extended their support, making the programme a grand success.
