KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 20, 2026: An ‘Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme’ was successfully organised by the Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous), Karimnagar town, to create awareness among degree students about entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities on Tuesday.
The programme featured eminent speakers S. Rammohan Reddy, Master Trainee & Technical Officer, MSME–Tool Room, Hyderabad, and Devaraj Venkat Rao, Professor of Business Management. The speakers emphasised the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s competitive world and explained various government schemes, MSME support systems, and the role of innovation and skills in building successful enterprises.

The programme was conducted under the able leadership of the Principal, Prof. D. Varalakshmi, and the guidance of Vice Principal, Afsari Osmani. B. Rajani Devi, EDC Co-ordinator, and M. Kalpana, IQAC Coordinator, coordinated the event.
The programme was informative and motivating, encouraging students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and consider entrepreneurship as a viable and rewarding career option.
