
HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 09, 2025: The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana to provide training up to the B2 level in German and Japanese languages for nursing students enrolled in government nursing colleges across the state.
The MoU was signed in the presence of the Health Minister of Telangana, Damodar Raja Narasimha; Secretary to Government, HM & FW Department, Dr. Christina Z. Chongthu, Registrar (I/c), Prof. M. Hari Prasad; and Director of Medical Education Dr. A. Narendra Kumar.
With active encouragement and guidance of the EFLU Vice Chancellor, Prof. N. Nagaraju, the initiative aims to equip nursing students with advanced language skills, thereby enhancing their employability prospects in Germany and Japan, two countries with significant demand for qualified healthcare professionals.
Through this collaboration, EFLU will deliver structured language training programmes tailored to the needs of the nursing sector, enabling students to acquire both linguistic competence and intercultural communication skills essential for professional success abroad.
The English and Foreign Language University is working to expand its footprint by offering language training programmes to other states across India.
