KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 25, 2025: Senior Gyneacologist Dr Akula Shailaja has been elected as the president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Karimnagar chapter unanimously in the elections conducted on Wednesday.
While Dr Nagasamudram Mahesh has been elected as the general secretary and Dr Kasam Neelima as the treasurer, Dr Pradeep Kumar, Dr Venkateshwarlu and Dr Vidyadhara Rani have been elected as vice presidents.
Dr Akula Shailaja had earlier worked as the general secretary of the IMA Karimnagar district chapter more than a decade ago.
