
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 30, 2024: Advita International School, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar, hosted a splendid Pre-Diwali celebrations, filled with joy, delight, and festive bliss on Wednesday.
Students from all levels came together to deliver an array of vibrant performances that showcased the spirit of Diwali. The celebrations opened with a delightful Shloka Recitation by the toddlers, invoking a sense of spirituality and tradition. This was followed by an engaging retelling of the festival’s epic-based history, captivating the audience with the timeless stories behind Diwali.
Adding depth to the celebration, a segment on the scientific relevance of Diwali explored the environmental and cultural significance of the festival, linking it to PPT Presentation on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A highlight of the event was a compelling declamation of Greta Thunberg by the senior student offering a modern perspective on Diwali’s values. The finale was a thrilling enactment of the legendary Narakasura Vadha, as a form of pantomime beautifully performed by the students, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
Mr. Anudeep Sowgani, the director commended the students and staff for their dedication in presenting the event as a powerful blend of tradition and learning. Principal, Ms Madhuri Swetha also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the collective efforts of the staff. Special appreciation was extended to the art department and admin for their beautiful murals and tableau, which added an enhanced visual dimension to the event. The celebration brought together the entire Advita community in the joyous spirit of Diwali.
