RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, DECEMBER 24, 2025: Rajanna Sircilla District Hub for Women Empowerment Coordinator Roja and District Welfare Officer Laxmi Rajam visited the college to observe the progress of the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ project, which was assigned by the District Collector, Rajanna Sircilla.
As part of this initiative, the NSS team of TGSWRDCW, Sircilla organized a Sakhi Awareness Programme for the students. During the programme, the visiting officials interacted with the students and addressed them on various important aspects of women’s empowerment, emphasising the importance of skill development in building a successful career. They also guided students on career planning, ways to overcome fear and self-doubt, and encouraged them to be confident and self-reliant.
The programme was conducted in the presence of Principal K Lavanya, Vice Principal B. Sumalatha, NSS Coordinator V. Swapna, Advisory Council Members G. Swapna and G. Rajini, along with all faculty members of the college.
The event was informative and inspiring, motivating students to focus on education, skills, and self-empowerment, in line with the objectives of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative.
