Collector Pamela Satpathy initiatives yields results with 96.76 pass percentage in SSC supplementary exams

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 28, 2024: “No student is failed in SSC” campaign launched by Collector Pamela Satpathy has evoked good response with 96.76 percent students passing the SSC examinations in the advanced supplementary results which were declared on Friday evening.

Out of a total of 432 SSC failed students, who appeared in the supplementary examinations in the district, 418 students have been passed.  It may be recalled that a total of 483 students had failed in the SSC examinations in March 2024 and among them 432 appeared in the examinations and 51 students abstained.

In Karimnagar town, among 357 students, who failed and appeared in the supplementary exams, 321 students passed out and another 36 students abstained from writing the exams. The Karimnagar town achieved a record 99.07 pass percentage.

In Huzurabad, among 126 students, 111 appeared in the exams and 100 students passed and 15 students abstained. In all only 24 students had failed.

Collector Pamela Satpathy took special initiatives to help the SSC failed students to clear their examinations by paying the necessary examination fee by the government and imparting special classes in the respective schools by motivating the teachers and their parents of the students. Empowering the importance of clearing the SSC exams for pursuing further higher studies, she ensured that the teachers visited the houses of the SSC failed students and motivated them to attend the classes.

Buoyed over successful clearance of SSC examinations, the Collector said that “It’s great achievement by the students”. Congratulating the students, teachers and parents for successful clearance in the SSC examinations, the Collector appreciated DEO Ch Janardhan Rao and the respective school teachers for successful results in SSC advanced supplementary exam results.
