KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 29, 2025: Collector Pamela Satpathy has formally inaugurated the district-level Children’s Science Exhibition 2025–26 (Bal Vaignik Pradarshani and INSPIRE awards MANAK) under the aegis of the district education department at Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, Karimnagar town, on Saturday.
A record number of 807 science exhibits and 126 INSPIRE MANAK exhibits by the students government and private schools of the district were on display during the three-day science exhibition. The exhibition covers key themes such as agriculture, plastic reduction, renewable energy, water conservation, health and hygiene, science & technology, and mathematical models. Models on various topics related to science, including health, hygiene, disaster management, and agriculture, were displayed. Other models, including power generators, irrigation, water recharging, and road carpeting, attracted visitors.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the present age was also called the science age. Due to innovations in science, people are getting lots of facilities these days, she said. She said the Inspire Award scheme was launched to develop the interests of students in science subjects.
She also stated that for the past ten consecutive years, Karimnagar’s science exhibits have been selected at the State level and then at the National level — a remarkable achievement that brings pride to the entire district. She noted that Karimnagar uniquely hosts a Science Museum accessible to both government and private school students.
She encouraged students to step forward with confidence, as Aatmanirbhar Bharat offers vast opportunities for young innovators. Thinking about what we can contribute to our nation and people — that, she said, is the true spirit of a self-reliant and developed India.
As students are the future of the nation, their ideas, innovations, and values will shape the generations to come. She stressed the importance of conserving natural resources — water, food, and electricity — as an everyday responsibility.
She urged students to focus not only on global issues but first on local problems, identify them early, and develop scientific solutions. Early action prevents larger consequences.
“When we treat nature like a mother, it always gives back,” she said, adding that true scientific progress is achieved when human life moves in harmony with nature. She encouraged students to adopt nature-friendly lifestyles and pioneer meaningful innovations for the future.
District Educational Officer Ram Mondaiya appreciated the participation of both government and private schools. He encouraged students to think scientifically in their ideas and actions, and urged teachers to utilise school laboratories fully to nurture scientific thinking.
Alphores Institutions Chairman V Narendra Reddy noted that the Government of India is investing significantly through the INSPIRE Awards–MANAK, creating opportunities for students to develop as young scientists. He appealed to society to encourage science along with engineering and medicine, so that India can produce more scientists and soar higher in science and technology.
District Science Officer Jaipal Reddy informed that the exhibition received 807 science exhibits and 126 INSPIRE MANAK exhibits. Seven themes have been showcased, and the best exhibit from each category will be selected for the State-level competition.
The event was attended by District Board Secretary S. Bhagavanthayya, Sectoral Officers Karri Ashok Reddy, Anjaneyulu, Milkuri Srinivas, Kriparani, Kothapalli MEO Anandam, along with MEOs from all mandals, headmasters, teacher association leaders, teachers, and students.
