KARIMNAGAR, MAY 04, 2025: Satavahana Urban Development Authority (SUDA) chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy on Sunday released a poster pertaining to the local rural folk artists (Chiruthala bhajana) attempt to enter the world record book by performing a non-stop eight-hour performance in Karimnagar town on May 8, 2025.
A total of 600 artists from the integrated Karimnagar district would participate in the record feat organised by Karimnagar Folk Arts Academy, Kalaravali Socio-cultural association and Salwaji Events and Cultural group. The event would be organised at Kalabharathi in Karimnagar town on May 8 at 10 am and concludes at 6 pm.
The mega cultural event is being organised to enter the Wonder Book of Records. Even coordinator G Krupadanam, Record book coordinator Bingi Narender Goud, Karimnagar RDO K Maheshwar, Karimnagar Congress Assembly segment in-charge Purumalla Srinivas and others were also present.
The event would be graced by Collector Pamela Satpathy, Additional Collector Laxmi Kiran, Municipal Commissioner Chahat Bajpai, Manair educational institutions chairman K Anantha Reddy, Mana Samaikyatha cultural academy chairman Rodda Yadagiri and others.
