KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 14, 2025: Siddartha Group of Schools in Mankammathota, Bhagathnagar, Vidyanagar, Seetharampur and Choppadandi in Karimnagar district organised special programmes on Children’s Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, on Friday.
Children of the primary wings attended the school in colourful attire. Many of them came clad in Nehru’s outfits with a red rose pinned onto them. The schools also conducted a self-governance day, wherein the students donned the role of teachers and conducted the classes, and the teachers entertained the students by participating in a cultural programme in the morning assemblies.
Similarly, the schools also organised fancy dress competitions for the tiny tots, painting and other competitions for the children on the occasion. In the afternoon session, the students participated in releasing balloons into the air and presenting cultural programmes.
Siddartha group of schools chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy, Director Swapna Sripal Reddy and others participated in the programmes and wished the children.
