
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 16, 2025: The course is organised by the Department of English, Kakatiya Government Degree College, Hanamkonda. Three resource persons, T.S.Praveen Kumar, A Sriitath and B.Kiranmai, conducted the programme.
The duration of the certificate course is 30 hours. The core cross-cultural areas of life skills are presented in 3 modules: 1) Decision Making and Problem Solving. 2) Creative Thinking and Critical Thinking, 3) Communication and Interpersonal Skills. 4) Self-awareness and Empathy, S} Assertiveness and Equanimity, and 6) Resilience and coping with emotions and stress. The course raised students’ awareness of life skills for their academic and professional development.
The objective of the programme was to provide adequate life skills to the students of this region for sustenance and growth. Students will learn both the essence of life and the art of living. Principal of the college Prof G Srinivas, addressing the participants, stated that life skills will enable them to deal with the demands and challenges of life in an effective manner. He appreciated the students for their participation, regularity and punctuality displayed in attending the course. Students expressed satisfaction in their own way, speaking about the relevance of the course in today’s world of computerisation and digitisation. The program concluded with a certificate presentation to the participants on successful completion of the certificate course. The course coordinator, T.S.Praveen Kumar, thanked the Principal. Srinivas, H.O.D. of English A Srinath, and other members of the department for their unstinting support in organising the course.
