BSNL delegated the operation of broadband services to Citilink Broadband Services to provide better services to customers
It has been four days since the services were disrupted, but neither BSNL nor Citilink broadband services have responded to the plight of the customers
They will not lift the phone calls or respond to the complaints to the BSNL call centre
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 15, 2025: The Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited has attained a dubious distinction in the integrated Karimnagar district and is often cited as a provider with poor customer service, frequent network issues (slow speeds and outages) and unresolved complaints, leading many users to switch to private operators despite BSNL’s lower costs.
On Friday (December 12, 2025), the electricity authorities had chopped off trees as part of the line clearance works. On Friday afternoon, the BSNL broadband albeit internet services were disconnected, and today, on Monday also the services have not been restored. The BSNL, which had handed over the broadband services Citlink to provide better services to its customers, had become lethargic without any response to the phone calls from customers to provide internet services. Ironically, the Citilink broadband services authorities were not lifting the phones or responding to the messages.
Even after lodging the complaint with the BSNL call centre, it remained a waste as none of the officials responded. The non-response by the authorities concerned is causing mental agony as they are unable to use the internet services for their business and other activities.
The customers openly called to shift to other private internet services for better and prompt operations. “How can a customer wait for four long days without internet services, when it has become essential for daily needs?”, asked a Lok Satta Udyama Samstha leader.
Karimnagar Consumer Council leaders had found fault with the Citilink broadband services for not responding to the calls of its customers and informing them about the restoration, and causing mental agony. They said that they would file a complaint in the Consumer court in Karimnagar district for causing umpteen woes to the customers by disconnecting the internet services for four long days.
