NEW DELHI, JULY 14, 2025: Former Civil Aviation Minister Pasupati Ashok Gajapathi Raju has been appointed as Governor of Goa.
President Droupadi Murmu made this announcement on Monday. Ashim Kumar Ghosh was appointed as Governor of Haryana, and Kavinder Gupta as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh. On the other hand, the President of India has accepted the resignation of Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) as Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh congratulated Ashok Gajapathi Raju and thanked President Murmu and Prime Minister Murmu on the appointment of Mr Raju as the governor of Goa.
