KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 17, 2024: In a noble gesture, an alumnus of Government Old High School in Karimnagar town has donated sound system worth Rs 50,000 for the conduct of meetings and cultural programmes in the school for the benefit of students.
Dasari Tirupati Reddy, an alumnus of the school, who retired as lecturer of government degree college for women recently, visited the school and handed over cheque of Rs 50,000 to the school on Saturday. He also promised to provide financial assistance to three SSC toppers from March 2025 examination onwards.
School headmaster Sheik Chand, teachers T Linga Reddy, J Jagadeshwar Rao, A Nataraj, J Krishna Murthy, J Diwakar, M Praveen, Fayaz Ali, P Tirupati Reddy, N Pawan Kumar, P Raghu, Prakash and others thanked the alumnus of the school for his noble gesture.
